    Adoption Seminar

    Saturday, March 31
    10:00 am - Noon

We invite you to a free seminar. Whether you are just beginning to consider adoption or have decided to adopt, this seminar will be of value to you. We will present an overview of what God's Word says about adoption in a multimedia program called The Spirit of Adoption, which includes a moving Hallmarkâ„¢ presentation of Steven and Mary Beth Chapman's story of adoption.

Is God punishing you through infertility? Is adoption God's Plan "A" or Plan "B" for placing a child in your home? What is God's definition of Mother and Father? Is an adopted child your own? These intriguing questions will be answered along with many others. You will also hear families share their personal and profound experiences.

You will be able to get a glimpse of the entire adoption process, including the end result, because there are usually quite a few babies and children in tow with their proud parents! Call America World to register today. 1-888-ONE-CHILD.

    One Night with the King

    Friday, March 30
All women are invited to join the S.T.A.R. Bible Studies for a special screening of One Night With The King, the major motion picture based on the beloved Old Testament character, Esther. The special STAR movie night will be held on Friday, March 30, at 7:00 pm, in the OCF auditorium. Women who do not attend STAR Bible Studies are welcome to join us for this movie night. In addition, women who will be participating in one of STAR’s new Esther Bible Studies beginning April 18, will benefit from seeing the movie before the study actually starts. Admission is free, and popular movie snacks will be available. Please call Kathy Thorpe at (310) 374-5344 if you have any questions.
