St John’s Lutheran Church in Gardena will be feeding the homeless on Monday, August 31. Cooks and servers are needed to help prepare and serve food to the homeless. We need homemade baked goods or store bought desserts, such as cakes, pies, and cookies. Please bring your items to OCF by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31. If you would like to help with serving please contact Liz Smith in the Church Office.

OCF is hosting a wonderful event for Fathers and daughters. On Friday, August 28, Fathers and daugters (of all ages) are invited to attend this memorable and wholesome event. We acknowledge that the unique and significant relationship between fathers and daughters is a mirror of God's love for His children, and that God has entrusted fathers with the role of bringing up daughters to live in purity and in truth. The price is $5.00 per person (sorry, no Moms allowed) which includes fun music, drinks and special treats. Photographs will be taken and will be available for purchase on-line for a nominal fee.
