Brandon is a native Southern Californian and graduate of Long Beach State University. Brandon received his theological training at Talbot School of Theology (M.Div.). He lives in Torrance with his wife, Courtney, and their four children. Email Brandon.

Joe Hellerman - Pastor

Joe received his theological training at Talbot Seminary and has earned a Ph.D. in History of Christianity from UCLA. In addition to his work with OCF, Joe teaches full-time as Professor of NT Language and Literature at Talbot School of Theology. He grew up right here in the South Bay and lives in Hermosa Beach with his wife, Joann, and their two daughters. Margy Emmons - Director of Worship & Administration

Margy Emmons earned her bachelor’s degree in piano performance at the University of Nebraska, then earned a Masters in Piano Accompanying from USC. In addition to serving the Lord as a worship leader for many years, her musical experiences include accompanying classical artists, vocal coaching, and many nights playing piano with the pit orchestra for musical theatre and opera. Christy Vreede - Director of Children's Ministries

Christy Vreede was born and raised in the South Bay. She has served in Children's Ministry at OCF for 12 years, which is long enough to enjoy the blessing of watching a generation of younger children grow up to become Vacation Bible School teachers for the newest batch of young ones! She and her husband, Eddie, have two teenagers and she looks forward to watching her grandchildren grow up at OCF! Email Christy.

Mark Stepp - Director of Student Ministries

Mark is a native Southern Californian and graduate of Biola University. Mark received his theological training at Talbot School of Theology (M.A. Philosophy of Religion and Ethics). He and his wife, Cecilia, live in the South Bay. With their busy schedules, they enjoy any and all free time they can find! Email Mark.

Marc Schramm - Church Administrator

Marc is a veteran of 27 years in the aerospace industry and has managed several different Supply Chain functions across the United States. With a Master's degree in Systems Management from USC, he brings a business perspective to OCF. He serves OCF through contract negotiation, administrative policies and procedures, and future planning. Marc and his wife Casey have attended OCF for 13 years. They have two children and two granddaughters and enjoy accumulating frequent flier miles at Disneyland. Email Marc.

Lori Dallavo - Financial Secretary

Lori was born and raised in Oklahoma, and graduated from Oklahoma State University. Lori met her husband Scott after moving to California, and together the Dallavos have owned and operated their own businesses. Lori now serves OCF as a financial secretary. She and Scott have two children and, as a side-note, lead OCF's Parenting Classes. Email Lori.

Liz Smith - Administrative Assistant

Liz has worked at OCF for eight years. She loves her job as secretary of administration and enjoys quilting, cooking, camping, a good book and, most of all, drawing closer to God on a personal level through STAR bible studies. She originally hails from the East Coast, but now resides in Torrance with her husband, Curtis, and two sons. Email Liz.

Shannon Olson - Administrative Assistant

Shannon Olson was born and raised in Westchester, CA. She recently grauduated from CSLB with a degree in liberal studies and is now attending Talbot School of Theology. Shannon enjoys training for marathons, the beach and working with OCF's Junior High group. Email Shannon.

Joann Hellerman - Secretarial Assistant

Joann has worked at OCF in several capacities, but most OCFers know her as “the kitchen angel” because she is the one who takes care of the little details in the kitchen (and the rest of the church!) to make it feel just like “home.” Joann’s husband is Pastor Joe Hellerman.
