1) What was Jesus’ ministry? And 2) What was the reaction to Jesus’ ministry?

Jesus taught that everyone who acknowledges their need for God can receive the good news of God’s generous grace. Every single one of us is valued by God. He loves us because of Who He is.

Sad to say, we must be reminded of our own sinful nature because of our selfish tendencies to grasp His good news for ourselves and deny, ignore, or judge others.  God must pierce our hearts to reveal how needy and how poor we really are, and awaken His grace within us so that we can share His love – His generosity with those around us.
