Pastor Brandon Cash continues our series in the Gospel according to Luke with a message from Luke 8:40 - 9:17.

This section of Luke's gospel presents several stories illustrating the people beginning to ask, "Who IS this man?" Jesus raises a dead girl, heals a sick woman, sends out the twelve apostles, and feeds the 5,000.  People are beginning to understand that Jesus is the Messiah.  In each story, the people involved respond to Jesus' commands with faithful obedience.

It is our faith-filled obedience to Jesus' call that both sets us free from sin and empowers us to extend the Kingdom of God here on earth.
