Benevolence Care is established to minister to the unexpected and urgent financial needs of the members of OCF as directed in Galatians 6:2 to “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” An individual requesting assistance will need to complete an application and be open to possibly receive financial counseling. The Wisdom Council is a ministry of our church that provides prayerful guidance and encouragement. It exists to come alongside those facing important life decisions where Scripture may not give a direct answer, offering perspective grounded in prayer, discernment, and biblical principles. The Council’s role isn’t to make decisions for others, but to help individuals seek God’s wisdom and direction as they navigate life’s challenges. our Marriage Ministry is dedicated to creating an environment where marriages are encouraged, strengthened, and supported through every stage of life. We offer premarital and marital counseling to help couples prepare for a lifelong covenant, navigate challenges, and build a Christ-centered relationship. In addition to counseling, we provide marriage enrichment activities and mentoring designed to equip couples to grow together in love, faith, and commitment. Our Widows Ministry offers a safe, caring space to connect, share, and find encouragement through faith and friendship. We gather regularly to support one another with prayer, honest conversation, and shared experiences, knowing that no one has to walk this journey alone. Through community, Scripture, and Christ-centered hope, we seek to honor the past while embracing God’s promises for the future. If you find yourself in an unplanned pregnancy, please know that being pregnant is not a sin, and the child you carry is not a punishment; it is a blessing. God is knitting this child in your womb. You may or may not have made a sinful decision that led to this pregnancy, but we want you to know you are loved, and we will do whatever it takes to help you carry and care for this precious child before and after birth. There are people in this church ready to mentor you, throw you a baby shower, and connect you with resources inside and outside of our church (local pregnancy care center).
