Missionaries

Mark and Lisa DeNeui

  • Mission: Mark and Lisa DeNeui have been missionaries with WorldVenture since 1991. They began as team members of a church plant in Brussels, Belgium. This French-speaking church was eventually handed over to a full-Belgian leadership in 2002. As church planters, the DeNeuis were dedicated to training leaders, preaching, leading small groups and bible studies, counseling and leading the music program. The DeNeuis have lived and served in the Alsace region of France for the past 11 years. Mark is a missionary professor for WorldVenture teaching courses in New Testament and Theology. He teaches primarily in French-speaking Europe (the Belgian Bible Institute and the Geneva Bible Institute, and Jean Calvin seminary). Mark commits himself to training missional church planters and church leaders who have a passion for understanding God’s Word and a passion for living it out in the church and in the world. Mark has also served as an elder in their local church in St. Louis, France. Lisa serves the local French church through initiating prayer walks, and setting up prayer rooms, through evangelism in the Alpha Course, mentoring women and hosting a home group.  She has also enjoyed organizing English camps and clubs as a way to build bridges and relationships between our church and the local community. Mark and Lisa will be moving to the city of Strasbourg, France to help with a church planting network, where Mark will continue to teach and train church leaders and Lisa will help with a church community center reaching out to refugees and immigrants. Mark will continue to teach at the various Bible Institutes as well.  Their 3 adult children, Luc, Alison and Anne, will all remain in California to work and complete studies.
