Missionaries

Scott and Sarah Yetter have been serving together in Pico Union near downtown Los Angeles since 1999. They got married in 2000, and together opened up the SAY Yes! Youth Center in 2001. Realizing the need for stability, coaching and community for youth staff, God opened an opportunity for them to start the Nehemiah House internship, which has been taking yearly interns since 2002. Scott and Sarah have raised their four kids at the Nehemiah and adjoining Emmaus House, around the block from their church in Pico Union. Now the pastor of the church, Scott and his family enjoy the spontaneity, community life, and great food that naturally happens around the two properties owned by the church, as well as the many open doors to share Jesus’ love and the gospel message in daily life.
